Tonight’s heavyweight Europa League round of 16 clash between AC Milan and Man United is delicately poised after the sides drew 1-1 at Old Trafford last week.

Senegalese teenager Amad Diallo’s intelligent headed opener for United was cancelled out by Simon Kjær’s last-gasp equaliser for the Rossoneri.

Here’s the latest team news ahead of the second-leg in Milan kicking off at 22:00 CAT.

🇮🇹 Milan

Stefano Pioli’s men received a triple injury boost at the weekend with Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Theo Hernández and Ante Rebić all returning against Napoli.

Ismaël Benancer returned to first-team training on Monday and could make the matchday squad after a month out. Zlatan Ibrahimović is also pushing for a return against his old club and should feature at some stage. Alessio Romagnoli and Mario Mandžukić are major doubts.

🧮 Likely XI (4-3-3):

Donnarumma; Calabria, Tomori, Kjær, Hernández; Kessié, Meïté; Saelemaekers, Çalhanoğlu, Rebić; Leão

✅ FACT: Franck Kessié has scored his last eight goals from the spot, including Milan’s previous two strikes at the San Siro.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Man United

Paul Pogba and Donny van de Beek are both in the travelling party after overcoming injuries, but it’s unlikely that either will feature unless the circumstances call for it.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær’s striking options were further depleted at the weekend with Anthony Martial’s absence against West Ham and the Frenchman is unavailable again. Eric Bailly will not be involved either, and Edinson Cavani has pulled out despite initially being named in the squad.

🧮 Likely XI (4-2-3-1):

Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelöf, Maguire, Shaw; McTominay, Fred; James, Fernandes, Rashford; Greenwood

✅ FACT: Bruno Fernandes has been directly involved in seven goals (five goals, two assists) across his eight Europa League appearances for United.
