Manchester City advanced to the FA Cup semi-finals with a 2-0 victory over Everton at Goodison Park, thanks to late goals from Ilkay Gundogan and Kevin De Bruyne.

Pep Guardiola’s team failed to break through until De Bruyne was added, and he played a crucial role in both goals as Man City kept their dreams of an incredible quadruple alive.

Gundogan scored his third goal in as many games to finally break the deadlock, converting a rebound after Joao Virginia had saved Aymeric Laporte’s shot.

In the final minute, substitute De Bruyne sealed the quarter-final victory with a strong left-footed effort after being set up by Rodri.

City progressed to the FA Cup semi-finals as a result of their victory.

Pep Guardiola’s side is also in the last eight of the Champions League and the EFL Cup final, as well as leading the Premier League, as they continue their quest for a historic season.

Who else has qualified?

In the FA Cup last four, Man City will join Southampton, who defeated Bournemouth 3-0 earlier on Saturday.

Chelsea will face Sheffield United in the quarter-finals, while Leicester City will face Manchester United.

Both of these games are scheduled for Sunday.
