Four EPL bets to place today

League football is on today and here is Futaa’s best slip!

Burnley vs Arsenal

Burnley has drawn four of their last six EPL matches and the corresponding fixture last season ended 0-0. In contrast, Arsenal’s last two matches in all comps have featured over 3.5 goals and both were away wins. The Gunners can still keep their faint European qualification hopes alive with a win here, whereas Burnley looks safe from the threat of relegation.

TIP: Arsenal win at FT

Sheffield United vs Southampton

Bramall Lane has become a happy hunting ground for Sheffield United since the turn of the year, and the Blades have recorded five victories in eight matches there in league and cup since the first of January. For Southampton, 2021 could have hardly gone worse, however, and a horrible run of eight defeats in nine league games leaves the Saints looking vulnerable ahead of their trip to the Steel City.

TIP: Sheffield United win

Aston Villa vs Wolves

Villa fell to a disappointing 1-0 defeat against ten-man Sheffield United in midweek. The chances of claiming a European place are looking unlikely now, although three wins to nil from their last five EPL home matches shows they’re a solid outfit at Villa Park. That being said since Villa stunned Liverpool 7-2, they subsequently lost six of the following ten competitive home matches (W3, D1, L6) conceding 2+ goals in each defeat. We’re tipping a surprise win for Wolves who have looked much improved in recent weeks.

Brighton vs Leicester City

Bottom-five Brighton needs to arrest their latest slump after two consecutive Premier League losses – as many as they suffered in their 12 league matches prior. Seven of Brighton’s last eight matches have featured under 2.5 goals but they’re winless in four EPL matches since a surprise success at Anfield in early February. Leicester followed up a 3-1 defeat to Arsenal with a 1-1 draw at Burnley.

TIP: Over 1.5 match goals
