Harry Styles requiring masks and vaccines for his Love On tour

With COVID-19 cases climbing, a growing number of concerts are requiring proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test for entry. 

Now one of the biggest tours of the year is adding another requirement — masks — for everyone. 

Organizers for Harry Styles’ “Love On” U.S. tour, supporting his blockbuster “Fine Line” album, made the announcement Wednesday for his 40-date tour starting in Las Vegas Sept. 4 and wrapping up in Los Angeles in November. 

Within the last few weeks, it’s becoming increasingly common for live shows to require proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test due to the surge caused by the more contagious delta variant.

Recently, both major concert entities – Live Nation Entertainment and AEG Presents – unveiled protocols to combat the surging virus. In October, both will implement vaccine mandates at their fully owned and operated venues and festivals in the U.S. where permitted by law. They will also require staff and employees to be vaccinated.
