Jackie Reacts to Joe’s Comments on Evan Rumor, Throws Shade at Teresa Giudice’s Book

Jackie Goldschneider reacted to the guys’ poker night scene on The Real Housewives of New Jersey during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night.

After watching as Margaret Josephs‘ husband, Joe Benigno, suggested it was possible that Evan Goldschneider cheated on her, Jackie explained why Joe said what he did before looking back on her infamous analogy about Gia Giudice and her messy confrontation with Teresa Giudice.

“I asked Margaret about it and she said that Joe heard Margaret and her staff of girls who work with her talking about the rumor that Teresa spread and that’s why he said that,” Jackie revealed of the conversation between the men during the March 3 episode of WWHL.

While Jackie was nothing short of mortified when she learned what was being said about her husband behind their backs on the show, she told host Andy Cohen that she now takes the attacks on her marriage as compliments.

“You know, Andy, the only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about so we’re just going to take it as a compliment and I’m just going to assume it’s because Evan’s just so damn good looking,” she explained.

Also during the live broadcast, Jackie re-clarified her comment regarding a potential rumor being spread about Gia using cocaine in bathrooms at parties, which she hoped would allow Teresa to understand why she was so upset about the rumor she spread about Evan.

“I’ll just say that my intention was never to hurt Gia,” Jackie noted. “The fact that the analogy went over Teresa’s head and that Gia felt hurt by it, I never wanted that. I never intended that. And for the record, I never heard that Gia does any kind of drugs. She’s a great girl. It was just an analogy and I never wanted to hurt anybody.”

Later, during the WWHL: After Show, Jackie was asked by a fan if she ever felt things were going to get physical between herself and Teresa during their confrontation at Margaret’s home.

“No! No, I actually thought that [Teresa] would understand that it was an analogy and that the conversation would keep going. I really did,” she admitted.

In another WWHL segment, Jackie was asked to say nice things about Teresa.

“She knows how to license her name on things,” answered Jackie when Andy wanted to know what she admired about Teresa as a businesswoman.

And when it comes to her favorite of Teresa’s four NY Times best-selling books, Jackie responded: “I would say the last one that the ghostwriter wrote, I mean that Teresa wrote.”
