We didn’t see this one coming!
Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet are splitting up after over four years of marriage and over 15 years of being together (they started seeing each other in 2005!!).

The couple took to social media on Wednesday with a joint statement to share the sad news, telling fans they are “parting ways in marriage.” Read the full post (below):

“We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring

That we are parting ways in marriage.

The 42-year-old actor and 54-year-old actress share two children: 14-year-old daughter Lola and 13-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf.
Their statement might be the most mature divorce announcement we’ve seen since Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin‘s conscious uncoupling!
Man, we really did not see this one coming at all! But like they said, we’re living in trying times, and no one is immune to the stressors that come with a multi-year pandemic. Not to mention the looming climate change crisis, unending political upheaval, etc. Ugh! It’s a lot to deal with, for sure!!
Here’s to honoring their relationship in all forms. From dating to parenting to marriage to co-parenting friendship, it’s all beautiful.
