Joe Hart has apologized to Tottenham fans after sharing a celebratory graphic following the club’s Europa League exit on Thursday evening.

After a 3-0 loss to Dinamo Zagreb, Jose Mourinho’s side was eliminated from the tournament.

After the humiliating defeat, Hart infuriated Spurs fans by posting a graphic on his Instagram story with the 3-2 aggregate scoreline in Dinamo Zagreb’s favor but the caption: ‘Job done.’

Hart apologized to Spurs fans in an Instagram video on Friday morning, saying he has “nothing but respect” for the club.

“Morning guys, I feel like I need to come on and make an apology on behalf of my social media team,” he explained.

“It has just been brought to my attention, I’ve literally just woke up, that someone thought that we’d won 3-0 last night.

“As sloppy as it sounds, it’s the truth. Posted ‘job done’.

“That’s unacceptable and I’m sure it’s annoyed a lot of people and I’m sorry it’s come to that.

“It’s obviously not come from me and I’ve got nothing but love for the club and support for the team.

“I’m just as down as the boys are, so apologies.

“Unfortunately its happened but just know it didn’t come from any other place other than a typo.

“Have a great day.”
