LA based singer-songwriter Linney is pleased to announce a brand new release with the arrival of ‘Run to the Forest’, out today through Helix Records.

Linney – Run To The Forest

Linney explains: “Run to the Forest quite literally came from a dream a few months before my entire family traveled to North Carolina (where I grew up) for my wedding one year ago. My Father-in-Law dreamt he had to wake up to call me and tell me to “run to the forest.” I knew I had to turn that message into a song. I grew up on 10 acres of old farmland in rural North Carolina and had a forest in my backyard. “Run to the Forest” is about reconnecting with where I grew up and finding that authenticity that presents itself each time I return Living in the city now, I’m constantly reminded of how much I miss nature. I miss the rain, I miss the lush green forests. So I created something that helps me return there every time I listen. I hope that it inspires you to reconnect with where you feel at home.”

Linney is a one-of-a-kind vocal talent operating across the electronic music landscape, with over 36 + million Spotify streams and a spine-chilling voice that transcends genres. The L.A.-based artist collaborated with dance music icon Gareth Emery on his 2020 single ‘Yesterday,’ charted on the Billboard Dance Radio Charts Fall 2020 with Tritonal collab ‘Electric Kids,’ lent her voice to staple artists such as Andy Moor and Ummet Ozcan, and three of her vocal contributions were featured in Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State Of Trance Year Mix 2020.’ Recently she has performed at EZOO 2021, EDC Las Vegas 2022 & Banc of California for A State Of Trance LA.

Deemed “a star in the making” by Indietronica, Linney’s outstanding singer- songwriter talent, sheer drive, and unabridged passion have won her repeated success. Her songs have been featured on Riverdale (The CW), The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (Netflix), MTV: love gone missing and more.
