Mia Thornton Accuses Wendy of ‘Defaming Her’ as Robyn and Gizelle Weigh in, Documenting “Every Move”

Is Mia Thornton‘s on-screen drama with Dr. Wendy Osefo about to turn into a court battle?

After weeks of back-and-forth on The Real Housewives of Potomac, things between Mia and Wendy have taken a turn for the worse on social media, with Mia accusing Wendy of defamation of character and seemingly warning her about a potential lawsuit.

“‘Defamation of Character’ Do you understand what this means Professor?” Mia asked in the caption of a July 21 post on Instagram. “Check your facts before you come for me [Dr. Wendy Osefo].”

After the new RHOP star’s post was shared, she was immediately met with a comment from co-star Robyn Dixon, who wanted to know what was going on between the two women.

“Lol what did I miss?” she asked.

“Sis, implied I ‘lied’ about my age,” Mia replied, along with an eye-rolling emoji.

Cast member Gizelle Bryant was just as confused about the drama playing out between them.

“Wait what?! [Robyn Dixon] when you find out tell me!” she shared as Mia reacted with a series of amused-looking emoji.

As Mia’s reactions continued in the comments section of her post, she reacted to a fan who suggested Wendy should have been more welcoming towards her, especially considering it wasn’t long ago when she was the new cast member of RHOP.

“Wendy slip is showing this season! Not cool!! She should be welcoming to Mia! As she was in the new friend situation/housewife position last year! Smh I’m glad Mia isn’t letting her bully her!!” the fan wrote.

“I have a Strong Team around me documenting every move. Eyes in Sky, this is just a fair notice,” Mia replied.

Later, after another Instagram user raised questions regarding Wendy’s alleged defamation of Mia, claiming it was actually Mia who got her age “wrong” and accusing Mia of using Wendy for attention, Mia fired back.

“1. Whenever you call someone a liar it is defaming. Look it up sis. 2. I did not get my age wrong she asked I responded ’36.’ 3. I don’t do anything ‘Basic’ including counting single digits, add some ‘O’s’ and I got you sis! 4. Conversations with legal take days so trust me I’m not concerned my team is just doing their job,” she wrote.
