Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has backed his players despite failing to win another Premier League game.
United had been billed as one of the title contenders in the season but their draw against Palace on Wednesday saw the gap between them and Man City extend to 14 in what is proving to be another season for their neighbors.
The Norwegian believes that his players had the right attitude in the Wednesday game and has backed them to come good in the Manchester Derby which comes this weekend.
“The attitude, the approach, everyone here is giving everything they’ve got. That’s the brilliant thing with these boys, they always give everything so don’t worry about not getting going.
“We’re getting going and of course, there’s extra spice when there’s a derby. And the little bit of frustration or disappointment or feeling sorry for themselves tonight, that will come back to motivation and inspiration for the next game because when you play them, you know that means a lot for us and that means a lot for the fans, and we’re going to give everything,” Solskjaer said.
While the draw maintained their unbeaten run away from home this season, United has now failed to score a goal in their last three games (in all competition).
